Asauvia FAQ:
what buyers ask before hiring us.
Straight answers on how engagements work, what drives cost, how we handle time zones, and how we protect your code, data and IP.
Working with us
What is Asauvia?
Asauvia is a service-based software development and product engineering company headquartered in Uttar Pradesh, India. It builds AI applications, workflow automation, custom software, product engineering, web and mobile apps, cloud and DevOps, data integrations, HR and operations systems, and technical SEO for startups and enterprises worldwide. It does not sell products of its own, and works India Standard Time with clients across time zones.
How do we get started?
Tell us what you're building, improving, or automating using the contact form. We'll follow up to scope the problem on a short call, then come back with a proposal and a recommended engagement model.
What does your delivery process look like?
Six stages, in order: discover the real problem and constraints on a short call, design the architecture and plan with you before anything is built, build iteratively against a shared backlog, validate with testing and review gates, launch with monitoring and rollback in place from day one, then improve by measuring against the original goal.
How will we know how the project is going?
You get a shared backlog and a standing update cadence, so status is visible at any time rather than reported on request. Architecture decisions are documented up front, so the reasoning behind the build is on record too.
Engagements and cost
What drives the cost of a project?
Mainly scope and uncertainty: how well-defined the requirements are, how much integration with existing systems is needed, and how much of the work is genuinely new versus established patterns. We scope this with you before any work starts, so the cost driver is the project, not a rate card.
What engagement models do you offer?
Fixed-scope for well-defined projects, a dedicated team for ongoing product work, and time-and-materials or retainer arrangements for work that evolves as it goes. We'll recommend one based on how defined your requirements already are.
Do you publish a rate card?
No. Cost depends on the scope and uncertainty of the specific project, so we scope it with you first and then send a proposal with a recommended engagement model.
Time zones and communication
How does working across time zones actually work?
Our team works India Standard Time. That runs ahead of business hours in the US, UK and Europe — so work done during our day is often ready before yours starts — and overlaps with much of Asia-Pacific. We agree a communication cadence and overlap window with you at kickoff.
Which time zone does your team work in?
India Standard Time (IST). For many international teams, our working day runs ahead of theirs, so work started during our day is often ready before yours begins.
How do we agree on meeting times?
At kickoff we agree an overlap window and a communication cadence that suit your team. That becomes the standing rhythm for the engagement, alongside the shared backlog.
How do we reach you?
Email info@asauvia.com or use the contact form. Once an engagement starts, day-to-day communication follows the cadence agreed at kickoff.
Security, confidentiality and IP
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. Our standard agreements assign IP in the work product to the client on delivery or payment, and we sign NDAs before any confidential scoping conversation.
How do you handle security and confidentiality?
Access to your systems and data is scoped to the people actually working on your project, under NDA, for the duration of the engagement. See our security page for the specific practices we follow.
When do you sign an NDA?
Before any confidential scoping conversation. If the first call needs to cover details you'd rather keep private, tell us and we'll put the NDA in place first.
How do you keep the code you deliver secure?
Code goes through review, every project gets a dependency review, and nothing ships until it passes testing and review gates. If you have your own security policies or questionnaires, raise them at the scoping call so they are part of the scope.
AI projects
What kind of AI work do you take on?
AI software development, meaning features and products built around AI models, and AI workflow automation, meaning AI applied to repetitive processes inside your business. Both start with scoping the real problem before choosing an approach.
Do we need a fully defined AI use case before contacting you?
No. Part of the discovery stage is working out what the problem actually is and whether AI is the right tool for it. Less defined requirements usually suit a time-and-materials or retainer engagement over fixed-scope.
Can AI features be added to our existing software?
Often, yes. How much integration with your existing systems is involved is one of the main things that shapes scope and cost, so we look at it during scoping.
Services
What services do you offer?
AI software development, AI workflow automation, custom software development, product engineering, web and mobile app development, cloud and DevOps, data engineering and integration, HR and operations systems, and SEO optimization.
Do you work on existing codebases or only new builds?
Both. During scoping we look at how much is genuinely new versus established patterns, and how much integration with your existing systems is involved, before recommending a plan.
Does cloud and DevOps work include monitoring?
Yes. Our cloud and DevOps service includes API monitoring, and every launch goes out with monitoring and rollback in place from day one.
Do you guarantee search rankings with SEO work?
No. Rankings depend on factors outside anyone's control, so we don't promise positions. We scope the SEO work with you and agree up front what it will cover.
